Flags

Rep. Bill Sandifer’s office is happy to assist you in obtaining a South Carolina or United States flag flown over the State Capitol. You may use the Flag Request Form provided to make your request and make checks payable to: Bill Sandifer. Flag orders will only be processed once a check and completed form have arrived. Please note that flag orders can take up to two to four weeks to be completed, so allow adequate time for processing.   If you have any questions regarding flag orders, please contact Rep. Page Program for the SC House of Representatives

Each year opportunities are made available to bright and dynamic students to educate and expose the student to the workings of the South Carolina House of Representatives and state government through full-time or part-time work in the state’s capital.

Pages are essential to the operation of the statehouse and are treated as members of the staff, which requires the same level of professionalism and commitment.

How to Apply

To apply, please send a resume and a cover letter stating your goals and expectations of the Page position to:

Applicants must be:

  • At least 18 years of age on or before the first day of work,
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university, or graduated the previous semester and
  • A U.S. citizen.

South Carolina Legislative Manual

Published annually, the South Carolina Legislative Manual provides information about the legislative, executive and judicial branches of the South Carolina state government as well as contact information for county and federal government departments.  The publication also provides a brief state history and highlights the symbols and emblems of the state of South Carolina.  Edited by the clerk of the South Carolina House of Representatives, the most recently published manual can be found online.
